THE height of a $1.3 billion luxury mini-city planned for a major Gold Coast development site is going up.
Developer Sunland has filed revised plans for its four-tower The Lanes residences project, planned for a Clear Island Waters site ahead of its release to the market in coming months.
According to the new plans, the height of the towers will slightly increase by around half a metre.
The design of the towers have changed.
While they will still be classified as two 10 and 12-storey buildings, the height increase means the buildings will legally be a level taller.
It also means the project will go before councillors for approval later this year.
